Deadlines Coming Up…
The Cheltenham Poetry Festival is hosting the next iteration of its International Poetry Prize for 2024. Entrants are welcome to submit a previously unpublished poem of up to 50 lines. Submissions can be on any theme, but must be written in English. Closes October 20th.
The Anaphora Writing Residency is a ten-day program designed exclusively for writers of color. The goal of the program is to nurture emerging and established writers of color, to create opportunities for publication, and establish a wide network of support for writers of different backgrounds. The winter residency will be held on February 13 - 22, 2025. Closes October 20th.
Applications are now open for micro-commissions for scratch work to be presented at B arts Scratch Night on Friday 9th February 2024. We are looking for new work or work in progress across theatre, stand-up comedy, spoken word, poetry, readings and theatrical/comedy sketches/skits. Micro commissions are about new or work in progress ideas. There are 2 micro-commissions for £250 available. Closes October 20th.
The Ironbridge Poetry Competition is open to poets from across the globe, and poems on any and every subject are welcome. First prize in our competition will win £300, with a second prize of £125, and three third prizes of £25 each. Closes October 20th.
